We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Electronics Category Manager to lead and scale our electronics category. You’ll be responsible for end-to-end category strategy—from supplier selection and contract negotiation to pricing, inventory planning, and performance optimization. Your goal: grow category sales, enhance product offerings, and maximize profitability while delivering a best-in-class customer experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Category Strategy & Planning: Develop and own the strategic roadmap for the Electronics category. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to uncover trends, identify market gaps, and explore growth opportunities. Design and execute pricing strategies aimed at improving margins and driving sales performance.
  • Supplier Management: Source and negotiate with key manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers to build strong, value-driven partnerships. Monitor supplier performance against defined KPIs including pricing, product quality, availability, and lead times. Lead cost-reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing and effective negotiation.
  • Product & Inventory Management: Expand the product portfolio in line with customer demand and emerging industry trends. Collaborate with demand planning and supply chain teams to ensure optimal inventory levels and availability. Track product performance and implement rationalization or promotional strategies where needed.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing to support new product launches and category campaigns. Work with Product teams to enhance online merchandising and improve search visibility. Coordinate with Finance and Operations on budget planning, forecasting, and performance tracking.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze key performance indicators such as sales, margin, and return rates to optimize overall category health. Develop business cases and data-backed reports to support new initiatives, promotions, and supplier negotiations.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in category management, merchandising, or procurement—preferably within the electronics space
  • Deep understanding of electronics products, market dynamics, and vendor landscape
  • Proven success managing complex supplier negotiations
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
