An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Junior Sous Chef to join the team at Bread Street Kitchen Limehouse. Bread Street Kitchen Limehouse is an all-day dining restaurant in a stunning Grade II-listed riverside location, showcasing the very best of Gordon's world-famous dishes; from his iconic Beef Wellington experience to his signature Fish & Chips. With the globally inspired menu and seasonal Bread Street classics, there is something for everyone.

As Junior Sous Chef you will:

  • Assist the Senior Team to manage the day-to-day operation of the kitchen whilst supervising and developing the brigade.
  • Ensure the highest standards of food preparation and delivery, as well as effective communication across all sections of the kitchen.
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu development and creation ensuring seasonality of ingredients.
  • Ensure that targets are met in relation to payroll and food costs and that the brigade complies with all health & safety and food safety policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous experience as a Senior Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef within a quality high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Be passionate about delivering high-quality, seasonal dishes.
  • Be able to effectively manage, motivate and lead a team.
  • Have the ability to develop a team enhancing the skill level of the brigade.
  • Be a clear communicator and enjoy being part of a team.
