A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Senior Sous Chef to join a highly regarded independent gastropub and restaurant renowned for its seasonal menus, fresh local produce and commitment to exceptional food. This pub is filled with character and warmth that you would expect whilst delivering an exceptional F&B offering. We are looking for a passionate chef who thrives in a quality-driven environment and enjoys working with seasonal menus, local suppliers and premium ingredients. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the senior kitchen team, helping to lead a brigade that delivers exceptional food across lunch, dinner and special events.

The Position

  • Support the Head Chef in all kitchen operations
  • Lead and inspire the brigade during busy services
  • Maintain consistency and high presentation standards
  • Assist with menu planning and development
  • Stock management and ordering
  • Training and mentoring junior team members
  • Ensure all health, safety and food hygiene standards are met

  • Previous Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef experience
  • Strong fresh food background
