You will lead high-impact, consultative business development at a senior level – winning new clients, growing strategic accounts, and strengthening BRE's position with regulators, investors, developers, asset owners and supply-chain partners. Help BRE make buildings safer and more sustainable!

Your role at BRE

  • Lead business development activity across France and other French-speaking territories, driving revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Develop and execute regional business development strategies aligned to BRE's European growth objectives.
  • Identify, engage and secure new clients across the built environment, including developers, investors, asset owners and supply-chain partners.
  • Expand and manage strategic accounts, strengthening long-term commercial relationships.
  • Promote BREEAM and wider BRE services, positioning them effectively within local regulatory and market contexts.
  • Represent BRE at industry events, conferences and key stakeholder forums across Europe.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Product and International Strategy to support market growth.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline management and forecasting to support reporting and planning.
  • Provide market insight and intelligence to inform regional strategy and future EU expansion initiatives.

What we are looking for

  • Fluent in both French and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong experience within the European real estate, construction, sustainability or compliance sectors.
  • Proven track record in B2B business development, including winning new business and growing strategic accounts.
  • Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders across complex organisations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage a sales pipeline, including forecasting and CRM management.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to operate across different European markets and cultural contexts.
  • Experience representing an organisation at industry events, conferences or external forums.
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of sustainability standards, certification schemes, or the built environment sector is advantageous.
  • Additional European language skills are beneficial.

Work Location Options

Hybrid – This role offers a mix of home and office working. You will need to be within commuting distance of our Watford office, as you will be expected to attend in person.
