We’re on the lookout for an exceptional Operations Team Leader to step in for 14 months of maternity cover. Your role at BRE:

  • Lead the Operations Support and Delivery Team within BPS Operations, focusing on comprehensive management and leadership of team dynamics, performance monitoring, individual workflow oversight, reporting, training, recruitment, customer engagement, and service-level maintenance.
  • Manage systems and procedures to ensure compliance with various quality standards, including ISO 9001 and ISO 17065.
  • Oversee the management of purchasing, invoicing, and debt management processes.
  • Report on financial metrics, service levels, KPIs, and performance data to management.
  • Oversee the processing of BREEAM Assessor license applications and terminations, along with AP subscriptions, ensuring adherence to standards and compliance with invoicing schedules and service-level agreements.
  • Supervise BREEAM Assessment registration processes, ensuring applications are processed according to established standards and timelines.
  • Manage business support functions related to BPS invoicing processes, procurement, purchase requisitions, project codes, accounts, and cost proposals.
  • Oversee processes for store purchases, BREEAM Infrastructure invoicing applications, BREEAM bespoke applications, and associated invoicing, payments, project codes, and work orders.
  • Identify actions for process improvements based on internal or external feedback regarding service delivery.
  • Collaborate with the BPS Operations Manager to implement operational efficiencies within the team and associated processes.
  • Make certification decisions and issue certificates for assessments conducted under the Administrative QA audit level, ensuring compliance with certification procedures.
  • Manage and coordinate the customer Live Chat service.
  • Maintain accurate data records within systems, databases, and websites.
  • Liaise with customers daily via shared communication channels (email, telephone, and Live Chat).
  • Address escalated queries and complaints in accordance with quality procedures.
  • Maintain the customer database and records.
  • Provide daily support to the Operations Team and staff.
  • Carry out business support, commercial, and operational tasks to assist the BPS schemes and businesses.
  • Support the BPS Operations Manager and collaborate with other team leaders, support coordinators, and business support staff across all areas of BRE, including BREEAM, Infrastructure, Building Performance Services, Academy, Products, Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams.
