We are currently seeking an energetic and organised individual to join our team as Fire Testing Technician. You will add value to the business by providing the practical support needed to deliver a busy programme of testing. This position will suit someone with a practical, hands-on approach, who is motivated to work independently as well as part of a team, and an interest to develop their career in fire testing. This is an entry level role that will require following instructions and procedures carefully to ensure that test samples are set-up for test correctly and other lab support activities. The role mainly involves test sample preparation (fitting thermocouples, setting up and operating test equipment) and requires a mixture of practical skills including basic construction work (building, plastering, soldering,) and heavy plant operation (fork lift truck, crane, MEWP). Full training will be provided.
