Join Scotland's Leading Compressed Air Solutions Team. We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of multiple civil engineering projects from contract submission through to successful on-site execution. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for a results-driven professional who thrives on balancing technical detail with strategic oversight. You'll ensure every project — from initial bid to handover — is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

If you're a proactive organiser with strong financial awareness, a passion for civil infrastructure, and the confidence to lead teams and engage with clients, this could be your next challenge.

Why Join BRE? As Scotland's longest-serving premier distributor of Atlas Copco industrial air solutions, BRE has proudly delivered excellence in air compression, gas generation, and vacuum technology since 1985. We serve industries ranging from electronics to medical research, food production, and beyond. This is a chance to grow your project management career with a respected and well-established company offering full manufacturer training, technical support, and long-term career development.

What You'll Do

  • Lead full project lifecycles, from bid submission and contract setup through to delivery, handover, and reporting.
  • Manage budgets ranging from £50k–£500k — ensuring cost efficiency, accurate forecasting, and financial control.
  • Coordinate materials and resources across multiple live projects, optimising labour, logistics, and timelines.
  • Oversee on-site execution, ensuring compliance with design, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement, providing regular updates to clients, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Prepare reports detailing project progress, risks, and financial performance.
  • Champion governance and quality, embedding best practices in safety, risk management, and project documentation.

What we're looking for

  • You're an experienced Project Manager or Site Manager with a strong civil engineering foundation and proven ability to deliver concurrent projects on time and within budget.
  • Demonstrable experience managing multiple civil or infrastructure projects (£50k–£500k).
  • Knowledge of contract and tender processes, ideally including NEC, JCT, or FIDIC frameworks.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise under pressure.
  • Confidence in communication, both written and verbal — able to liaise with clients, suppliers, and on-site teams.
  • Financial and resource planning expertise with an eye for cost efficiency and process improvement.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with project management tools.

Ideal candidates will have the following experience:

  • Experience working with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
  • Strong understanding of UK construction standards, permitting, and logistics.
  • A track record of success in complex stakeholder environments.
  • A full Clean UK driving license (essential).

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary (dependent on experience). From £45K upwards.
  • A range of benefits.
  • Full training and certification direct from Atlas Copco and other manufacturers.
  • Opportunities for career growth and development.
  • A supportive and knowledgeable team environment.
  • Stability and reputation—join a company with 40+ years of success.
