Project Manager to lead the delivery of multiple civil engineering projects from contract submission through to successful on-site execution .

  • What You’ll Do
  • Lead full project lifecycles, from bid submission and contract setup through to delivery, handover, and reporting.
  • Manage budgets ranging from £50k–£500k — ensuring cost efficiency, accurate forecasting, and financial control.
  • Coordinate materials and resources across multiple live projects, optimising labour, logistics, and timelines.
  • Oversee on-site execution, ensuring compliance with design, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement, providing regular updates to clients, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Prepare reports detailing project progress, risks, and financial performance.
  • Champion governance and quality, embedding best practices in safety, risk management, and project documentation.
  • What we’re looking for

You’re an experienced Project Manager or Site Manager with a strong civil engineering foundation and proven ability to deliver concurrent projects on time and within budget.

You’ll also bring

  • Demonstrable experience managing multiple civil or infrastructure projects (£50k–£500k).
  • Knowledge of contract and tender processes, ideally including NEC, JCT, or FIDIC frameworks.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise under pressure.
  • Confidence in communication, both written and verbal — able to liaise with clients, suppliers, and on-site teams.
  • Financial and resource planning expertise with an eye for cost efficiency and process improvement.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with project management tools.

Ideal candidates will have the following experience

  • Experience working with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
  • Strong understanding of UK construction standards, permitting, and logistics.
  • A track record of success in complex stakeholder environments.
  • A full Clean UK driving license (essential).
