We are a newly established satellite broadband telecommunications company, with investor presence in Glasgow, with an ambitious mission to deliver high-speed connectivity to underserved and remote regions. Having recently secured the first stage of funding, we are entering an exciting period of rapid growth and are building a high-performing team to scale our operations across the UK and Worldwide.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Finance Manager to join our leadership team. This is a pivotal role where you will help shape the financial foundations of a fast-growing telco in a cutting-edge sector. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring financial discipline as we expand rapidly.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all day-to-day financial operations including accounting and reporting
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support growth plans
- Partner with senior leadership to provide strategic financial insight and guidance
- Manage cashflow
- Establish and optimise financial systems, processes, and controls
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards
- Manage relationships with external auditors, advisors, and financial institutions
- Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators
- Assist in launching into new markets
About You
- Qualified/Part Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar role, ideally within telecoms, technology, or a high-growth startup
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to support strategic decision-making
- Experience with fundraising, investor reporting, or scaling businesses is highly desirable
- Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Passionate about technology and automation.
