We're recruiting on behalf of a growing international media business based in High Wycombe (hybrid) with operations across the UK, Europe and North America.
As the business continues to expand internationally, they're looking for an experienced Senior Management Accountant to take ownership of the financial reporting for their US operation, whilst also supporting other international entities.

The Opportunity Reporting into senior finance leadership, you'll take responsibility for the month-end management accounts for the US entity, ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and providing commercial insight to help drive business performance.
You'll work closely with operational stakeholders across multiple countries, making this a highly visible role with genuine opportunity to influence decision making.
Key Responsibilities Own the month-end management accounting process for the US entity.
Prepare accurate management accounts, journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
Ensure accurate accounting for revenue and cost of sales.
Maintain the fixed asset register and associated depreciation.
Complete monthly group reporting.
Produce detailed variance analysis and provide meaningful commentary.
Prepare budgets, forecasts and cash flow forecasts.
Analyse revenue, margins and contract profitability.
Business partner with operational and commercial teams across the international business.
Support bids, pricing decisions and commercial projects through financial analysis.
Ensure accurate intercompany accounting across multiple international entities.
Assist with finance transformation initiatives, process improvements and systems enhancements.
Provide support with audit and statutory reporting.
Supervise one direct report within the international finance team.
What We're Looking For This role is ideal for an experienced Management Accountant or Senior Management Accountant who enjoys working in an international business.
Essential experience includes: Previous experience preparing management accounts for a US entity is essential.
Strong understanding of US financial reporting within a UK-based international business.
Experience working within a multinational, multi-currency environment.
Advanced management accounting skills including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
Finalist or Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) Experience producing budgets, forecasts and commercial financial analysis.
Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Lookups and financial modelling.
Experience using ERP systems such as Business Central, Sage, Xero or similar.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders.
A proactive approach with a passion for improving processes and driving efficiencies.
