LOCATION: Minehead

HOURS: 37.5 (1:3 W/E cover)

SALARY: £13.55 PAYE or £14.22 Umbrella

DURATION: 3 months

Executive Summary: Our client is looking for a Homeless Support Enabler to work with a small but dynamic team in Minehead, where your passion and commitment will make a palpable difference in the lives of many. This contract role offers you the unique opportunity to work within the dedicated Accommodation-based Support Team. In collaboration with Somerset Council, they strive to address the pressing challenge of rising homelessness, specifically focusing on individuals with complex needs and a history of rough sleeping.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in homeless pathway support, inclusive of tenancy sustainment and move-on support mechanisms.
  • Aptitude in navigating and supporting various complex needs tailored to individuals.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality service, fostering development, and supporting effective move-on strategies.
  • Implementing Support Plans
  • Multi agency working
  • Proficiency in facilitating workshops and community activities to engage residents.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience within non-profit and social services sectors or comparable fields.
  • Strong background in providing complex needs support and knowledge of housing services.
  • Proficiency in managing caseloads efficiently, with an emphasis on minimizing risks such as arrears.
