BRC are working closely with a local authority in Cheltenham. As a Fire Risk Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing fire doors and their installations, primarily across communal areas and occasionally within residential properties. Your assessments will play a key role in ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations and maintaining high safety standards across all sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out fire door inspections and general fire risk assessments
- Evaluate the condition and compliance of fire doors and associated installations
- Document findings accurately and make practical recommendations for remediation
- Liaise with property managers, residents, and contractors as required
- Ensure compliance with current fire safety legislation and industry standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience in fire risk assessment, particularly in communal and residential settings
- Relevant fire safety qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH Fire, FPA, IFSM, or equivalent)
