BRC are working closely with a leading housing organisation to recruit a Customer Safety Administrator to join their Homecare team in Bracknell.
This role provides full and effective administrative support across key areas of Fire Safety, Asbestos, Lifting and Water Safety, while supporting the delivery of customer safety programmes and ensuring accurate reporting and data management.
Duties:
- Coordinate access appointments for Customer Safety programmes and risk assessments.
- Manage and prioritise customer and colleague enquiries via email, telephone and internal systems.
- Review digital workstreams, identifying and escalating priorities.
- Support annual programmes of work and recommendations from risk assessments.
- Allocate work, raise jobs and purchase orders, and liaise with internal and external customers.
- Produce regular assurance reports and support KPI reporting.
- Collect, input and maintain accurate data across management systems.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure information is completed accurately and on time.
- Support mandatory and best-practice compliance across the housing sector.
- Promote the importance of Customer and Building Safety across the organisation.
- Carry out any other duties commensurate with the role.
Requirements:
- Strong administrative background with excellent organisational skills.
- Excellent IT skills and practical experience using Microsoft applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, enthusiastic and self-motivated approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working under pressure and prioritising a busy workload.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a rapidly changing environment.
- Experience within the housing sector would be advantageous.
- Understanding of Landlord Health & Safety requirements would be desirable.
