You will play a key role in delivering a high-quality, person-centred support service, helping individuals move towards independence, stability, and positive long-term outcomes.

You will also provide day-to-day guidance to the wider support team, promoting consistency, professional practice, and excellent service delivery.

  • Assess risks and develop effective safety and risk management strategies with residents and partner agencies.
  • Support individuals experiencing challenging behaviour, crisis situations, substance misuse issues, and complex vulnerabilities.
  • Use effective communication and de-escalation skills to manage difficult situations professionally.
  • Senior Support Responsibilities
  • Act as a point of contact for operational queries and provide guidance to support colleagues.
  • Model good practice and support the team to deliver consistent, high-quality services.
  • Assist with managing incidents, property checks, and maintaining service standards.
  • Support the management of tenancy/licence issues, including warnings and breaches where required.
  • Coordinate with housing and property teams to ensure accommodation is safe, maintained, and ready for new residents.
  • Contribute to team meetings, service development, and continuous improvement.
  • Housing & Partnership Working
  • Support residents to understand tenancy responsibilities and sustain their accommodation.
  • Work closely with external agencies including housing providers, social services, police, healthcare professionals, and voluntary organisations.
  • Maintain accurate case records, reports, incident logs, and support documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, safeguarding, confidentiality, and data protection requirements.

About You

We are looking for someone who is resilient, empathetic, and committed to helping people overcome barriers and achieve independence.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Understanding of safeguarding, housing management, and tenancy sustainment.
  • Experience managing licence breaches, anti-social behaviour, and accommodation-related issues.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with partner agencies.
  • Ability to motivate and engage individuals who may struggle to access support.
  • Good IT skills and experience maintaining accurate records.
  • Full UK driving licence.
