About the Role
We are looking for a positive, motivated and people-focused Housing Management Assistant to join our Canterbury team on a temporary basis. You’ll help ensure our supported accommodation is safe, well-maintained and welcoming, working closely with Homeless & Prevention Coaches and external partners to support vulnerable people.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out regular property, health & safety and compliance checks.
- Support residents with practical housing management.
- Report and follow up repairs, damage and maintenance issues.
- Ensure rooms and communal areas are clean, safe and ready for residents.
- Manage tenancy and licence agreements and explain residents’ responsibilities.
- Recognise and report safeguarding concerns appropriately.
- Liaise with landlords, Housing Associations, Local Authorities and other agencies.
- Maintain accurate housing, financial and administrative records.
- Build positive relationships with residents, colleagues and the local community.

Essential:
- Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle, plus experience of working with different agencies/professionals and some knowledge or experience of housing management, health & safety or housing law.
