Based in Stockport, BRC Promotions remain the leading fundraising agency in the UK. We are in our 12th year of leading the industry in charitable lottery subscriptions and are currently partnered with national charities such as MacMillan Cancer Support, Alzheimer’s Society and more. Over the past 15 years we have generated millions in face-to-face fundraising for amazing causes.
The Venue & Scheduling Lead is an essential role in BRC Promotions for the fundraising campaigns we run for our venues based fundraising teams. You will be responsible for the coordination and booking of our venues within our private site fundraising campaigns and placement of our fundraisers into these sites.
Duties include but are not exhaustive:
- To source, book and coordinate all venue bookings and schedules across the UK.
- Liaising with booking agents ensuring we have high performing venue availability over a good geographical area.
- Working with our booking partners, ensuring venue availability factors in the geographical spread of our teams to keep travel to a minimum where possible.
- Following up with booking agents on venue requests to the point of confirmation.
- Updating all venue bookings accurately on a master schedule with all information required for the venue managers in a timely manner.
- Liaising with the Account Manager to confirm venue charges are all correct for the client on a weekly basis.
- Proactively addressing any issues relating to venue bookings in a timely manner to the point of resolution.
- Updating in real time any changes to venue bookings on the client weekly rota, ensuring bookings agents and clients are kept up to date.
- Supporting weekly performance related analysis reports on the budget tracker for each client monitoring CPA (cost per acquisition) and spend.
- Sending weekly offers of work to venue fundraisers including all venue related pre work, i.e. permit to work, map and parking information, media pack etc.
To support and work with the general administration team to include but is not exhaustive to:
- Answering calls that come in to the office to deal with any queries that may arise or taking a message for the appropriate person in the team.
- Updating in a timely manner ensuring any deadlines are met and updated on a daily basis.
What do I need?
- Previous experience in a scheduling role is essential.
- You must have in depth knowledge and experience of working with all Microsoft packages especially Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in building, maintaining and managing rotas for varying team sizes.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to altering priorities.
- Strong analytical skills as you will be responsible for analysing past venue performance.
- Excellent attention to detail and be able to prioritise your workload, demonstrating a proactive approach to work.
- Organised with excellent written and verbal communication and have the ability to develop and maintain strong professional working relationships with all clients, suppliers, colleagues and managers.
- A can-do attitude, good time management and have the ability to adapt to situations demonstrating a positive approach to all areas of the business.

What will I receive?
- Up to £35k annual salary per annum dependent on experience.
- 35 hours per week – usually 9-5pm Monday-Friday but we do offer flexible working options.

- You will have a 15-20 minute phone call with our Recruitment Manager who will discuss the role and your experience with you.
- If you are successful to the final stage after your initial phone call, you will be invited to a face-to-face interview. These are currently held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Leeds or Manchester.
- Once you have had your face-to-face interview we will contact you with the outcome within 48 hours.
What training will I receive?
BRC Promotions provides market-leading training to all our fundraisers. This comprises of an initial two-day induction at the BRC Academy followed by 30-35 hours of 1-2-1 on the job coaching. All our training is accredited by ITOL (Institute of Training and Occupational Learning) who have accredited BRC Promotions as a centre of excellence for training. You receive a certification documenting your competency on completion of our course.
