BRC Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Support Officer to a well-established organisation, supporting young people who are experiencing homelessness.

What you will do
As a Support Officer, you will provide housing-related support to young people, helping them develop the skills and confidence they need to live independently and successfully manage their accommodation.
- Managing a caseload of young people and providing person-centred support
- Building positive, trusting relationships with service users
- Supporting young people with independent living and tenancy-related skills
- Helping individuals work towards agreed goals and positive outcomes
- Supporting young people to maintain their accommodation
- Liaising with partner agencies and other professionals involved in a young person's support
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and support plans
- Identifying risks and responding appropriately to safeguarding concerns
We are particularly interested in candidates who are compassionate, resilient, organised and genuinely committed to helping young people achieve positive outcomes.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a support, housing or similar role
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a caseload and prioritise your workload
- Enhanced DBS
- Driver with access to a vehicle
