LOCATION: Penryn and Truro

HOURS: 37.5 hours per week

WORKING PATTERN: Monday - Sunday - 8am to 9pm.

SALARY: £15.34 + Holiday pay

DURATION: Temporary contract, 3 months

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Tailored Support: Provide responsive, person‑centred assistance to individuals with complex needs, struggling with drug and alcohol misuse, helping them achieve positive outcomes and independence.
  • Foster Collaboration: Build open and trusting relationships with customers, colleagues, and partner agencies to ensure seamless and comprehensive support.
  • Promote Participation: Encourage individuals to engage in social, educational and employment opportunities, preventing isolation and promoting self-determination.
  • Manage Risks Effectively: Conduct thorough risk assessments and maintain professional boundaries, ensuring health, safety and compliance with safeguarding policies.

About The Candidate:

  • Have an understanding of support needs and support planning.
  • Have experience of risk assessing and risk management.
  • Be a great communicator with the ability to build rapport.
  • Have accurate record keeping and computer skills.
  • Confident in lone working and be a good team player.
  • Have a flexible working approach to work.
  • Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Be resilient and adaptable.
  • Have an open, friendly personality and the ability to maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations.
