BRC are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Service Manager on behalf of a respected supported housing provider.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead multiple supported accommodation services for vulnerable adults, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support while driving operational excellence, safeguarding, compliance and positive outcomes for residents.

The Role

As Service Manager, you will oversee supported accommodation services across Luton, Bedford and Central Bedfordshire, managing Team Leaders, Support Workers and operational teams to ensure services are delivered safely, effectively and in line with regulatory and organisational standards.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining high-quality service delivery, supporting staff development and ensuring services operate efficiently while delivering the best possible outcomes for residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of supported accommodation services across multiple locations.
  • Lead, motivate and develop Team Leaders and Support Workers.
  • Ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centred support in line with support plans and safeguarding requirements.
  • Manage safeguarding concerns, incidents, complaints and tenancy issues.
  • Conduct supervision sessions, performance reviews and staff development meetings.
  • Monitor service performance and ensure operational KPIs are consistently achieved.
  • Ensure support plans, risk assessments and case records meet quality and compliance standards.
  • Oversee tenancy management, including move-ins, move-ons, arrears, evictions and void management.
  • Monitor property standards, health and safety compliance and operational procedures.
  • Work closely with internal departments including Housing Benefit, Maintenance, Compliance and Quality Assurance.
  • Identify service improvements and implement changes to enhance operational performance.

About You

  • A minimum of 2 years' management experience within supported housing, homelessness, housing management, social care or a similar setting.
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding and supporting vulnerable adults.
  • Experience managing teams, performance and operational service delivery.
  • Knowledge of tenancy management, risk management and supported accommodation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities across different service locations.
  • A full UK Driving Licence.
