In this rewarding role, you will provide person-centred support to individuals living in their own homes and within the community. You will work alongside people with a range of support needs, empowering them to develop life skills, maintain their tenancies, improve their wellbeing, and access services that help them thrive.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support based on individual needs and outcomes.
- Assist people to develop independence and confidence.
- Support individuals with budgeting, tenancy management, and daily living skills.
- Encourage access to education, employment, training, and community opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to support plans and risk assessments.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies and professionals.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housing support or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of housing options, local resources, and relevant legislation.
- Empathy, resilience, and a non-judgmental approach to support vulnerable individuals.
- Hold a UK driving licence and have access to a car.
- Hold an enhanced DBS.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
