As a Housing Complaints Officer you will be dealing with customer complaints as the first point of contact, acknowledging and investigating complaints and communicating the outcome to stakeholders. You will be providing responses to complaints both verbally and in writing, responsible for supporting customers through the complaints journey, investigating cases on their individual merits, and coming to a decision on the outcome of the case. The team is also responsible for ensuring that issues are identified and fed back, which could affect other customers. You will be liaising with the customer, the Housing Ombudsman, Councillors, internal departments, and other external stakeholders. You must have previous experience of dealing with Social Housing Complaints for this role.
