Locations: Chesterfield & Newark-on-Trent

Salary: From £30,000 per annum plus attendance bonus and additional benefits

Hours: Full Time Shift Pattern: Rotational shifts including sleep-ins (minimum of 2 sleep-ins per week)

BRB Recruit are currently working in partnership with two established children's residential providers located in Chesterfield and Newark-on-Trent. Both organisations are committed to delivering outstanding care and achieving positive outcomes for children and young people through a therapeutic and child-centred approach. Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Children's Residential Support Workers and Team Leaders to join their dedicated teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people within a residential setting.
  • Promote positive outcomes through therapeutic and relationship-based practice.
  • Support young people with daily living activities, education, appointments, and recreational activities.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and external professionals.
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
  • Contribute to creating a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working within a children's residential care setting.
  • Level 3 or Level 4 qualification in Residential Childcare, Children and Young People's Workforce, or equivalent.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Good understanding of safeguarding, childcare legislation, and therapeutic care practices.
  • Ability to work a varied shift pattern, including a minimum of 2 sleep-ins per week.
  • Passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people.
