BRB Recruit are currently working in partnership with two established children's residential providers located in Chesterfield and Newark-on-Trent. Both organisations are committed to delivering outstanding care and achieving positive outcomes for children and young people through a therapeutic and child-centred approach. Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Children's Residential Support Workers and Team Leaders to join their dedicated teams.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people within a residential setting.
- Promote positive outcomes through therapeutic and relationship-based practice.
- Support young people with daily living activities, education, appointments, and recreational activities.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and external professionals.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people at all times.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
- Contribute to creating a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment.
- Previous experience working within a children's residential care setting.
- Level 3 or Level 4 qualification in Residential Childcare, Children and Young People's Workforce, or equivalent.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Good understanding of safeguarding, childcare legislation, and therapeutic care practices.
- Ability to work a varied shift pattern, including a minimum of 2 sleep-ins per week.
