Our aim is to build a team of experienced, reliable and passionate Children's Residential Support Workers who want to make a genuine difference.
Every shift is an opportunity to provide positive support, consistency and care to children and young people living in residential homes.
The Role
- Providing safe, caring and child-centred support
- Building positive and professional relationships
- Supporting daily routines, activities and independence
- Acting as a positive and reliable role model
- Following care plans, safeguarding procedures and risk assessments
- Working closely with residential care teams
- Maintaining clear and accurate records
Requirements
- Have at least 1 year's experience working in a children's residential home
- Have full-time right to work in the UK
- Be caring, reliable, resilient and passionate about supporting children and young people
- Have a good understanding of safeguarding and child-centred care
- NVQ Level 4 in Children and Young People's Residential Care is preferred.
- A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
