We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Leeds. The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production equipment across the site. Working as part of a skilled engineering team, you will carry out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime and support continuous production.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on a range of production and process equipment
- Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns and reactive maintenance issues
- Fault finding across electrical and mechanical systems
- Support continuous improvement projects across the site
- Work closely with production teams to maintain maximum line efficiency
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety standards
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
- Experience working with production machinery and automated equipment
- Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent)
- A proactive approach with strong problem-solving ability
The Package
- £50,000 basic salary
- Monday–Friday 6–2 / 2–10 shift pattern
