A leading technical training provider is seeking an experienced Authorised / Competent Person HV / LV Electrical Trainer to deliver high-quality electrical and safe systems of work training to engineers operating in critical environments.
This is a non-site-based role, ideal for an experienced electrical professional looking to step away from tools while remaining technically influential.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver HV & LV electrical training to practising engineers and technicians
- Teach safe systems of work, isolation, switching and compliance standards
- Support candidates operating in critical environments such as hospitals, MOD facilities and airports
- Deliver training related to air filtration systems, building services and infrastructure
- Ensure training aligns with current legislation, standards and best practice
- Assess learner competence and provide technical guidance and mentoring
Essential Experience
- Strong background in HV and LV electrical systems
- Previous experience working in hospitals (NHS or private healthcare)
- Exposure to MOD sites and/or airport environments
- Understanding of air filtration systems and critical building services
- Ability to communicate technical content clearly to engineers at all levels
Desirable
- Authorised Person (HV/LV) background
- Experience delivering training, mentoring or technical leadership
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks, permits, switching and safety documentation
