Our client, a leading Domiciliary Care provider for the elderly in the Birmingham, Warwickshire and Worcester areas, is looking for a Care Trainer to train new Support Workers and to keep existing staff up to date with the latest in care training. This role can be 3 full days per week or full time 9am - 5pm.
Their Management team have in-depth knowledge of the healthcare sector, and the candidate to become the Trainer needs to have in-depth knowledge of training practices for Support Workers and Senior Support Workers.
About the role:- To deliver exceptional standards of care training to staff.
- Keep good records and regularly update the Management team on training progression.
- Assist with activities that contribute to the fantastic delivery of care within the organisation.
- Ensure health, safety and welfare of the Support Workers.
- Maintain up to date reports such as training files, staffing training plans and booking plans.
- Maintain regular communication with Branch Managers and HR department.
- Be able to communicate effectively with all trainees and tailor training to suit the business.
- Be able to commute to other branches to deliver training including the main branch at Leamington Spa as well as Birmingham and Worcester as their branches grow.
- Previous experience working within a healthcare environment within a Domiciliary Care environment.
- Training experience in Healthcare is essential, with Train the Trainer certifications.
- Ability to be patient & keep calm under pressure.
- Professional, friendly & the ability to hit the ground running.
- Easily adaptable to new environments.
- Reliable & trustworthy.
- Access to a car and a current UK driving licence.
- Salary based on experience up to £30000 + pension after probation.
