Our client, a Franchised branch of a large Domiciliary and Live In Care company, is seeking a full-time Registered Care Manager to join their new team. The area to be covered is Farnham and Camberley and the office is in the Frimley, Camberley area.

Based at the office and in the field, the Registered Care Manager will be responsible for ensuring the CQC Registration of the new branch, set up and growth working alongside the Franchise Owner and ensure that the business follows all CQC requirements at all times and for providing strong management and leadership to all staff, and ensuring clients receive the best care service possible.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day operations of the business by allocating resources, monitoring performance and ensuring all CQC regulations are met for safe and effective home care services to clients within budget and while maintaining company values.
  • To be responsible for client safety and commitment to safeguarding of vulnerable adults.
  • To grow the business and assist the Franchise Owner in networking and CQC Registration.
  • Ensure top quality services and growth of the business.
  • Managing all DBS checks, Right To Work checks and regulatory compliance for all staff.
  • Ensuring the care levels provided meet the clients' expectations and needs and liaising with clients continuously to check this.
  • Ensuring all training is monitored and recorded accordingly in line with regulations.
  • Staff performance management including staff appraisals, regular supervisory meetings and spot checks.
  • Take part in on-call duties and assist in Domiciliary care when needed.
  • Liaising with clients and other care professionals to ensure their ongoing needs are met.
  • Maintaining accurate records and files of care workers and clients.
  • To identify opportunities for growth within the business through effective relationships and engagement.
  • Ensuring all emergency on-call issues are dealt with, such as covering calls directly or securing and allocating staff when carers are absent or ill.
  • Attending external meetings and representing the service positively while also assisting the franchise owners in the growth and development of the business.

Experience and Skills required:

  • Experience with growing a new branch/marketing/business development.
  • Professional with excellent time management and reliability skills and also the ability to be flexible with work schedule.
  • Experience in risk assessments for care services and individual care and support and knowledge of confidentiality, health and safety and abuse matters and safeguarding procedures.
  • Excellent administrative and computer literacy skills as well as strategy and implementation skills.
  • Experience in staff management - recruiting, training, supporting and supervising.
  • Good understanding of regulatory responsibilities of a Registered Manager and all Domiciliary Care law.
  • NVQ5 in Health & Social Care.

A satisfactory DBS check, full UK driving licence and own vehicle with relevant MOT as well as the above necessary qualifications will secure this role. The start date of between 1 November - 1 December is needed and a salary of between £39,000 - £42,000 is on offer, performance bonus, 28 days holidays per year including bank holidays.
