BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT LEAD - EPPING - £30 000
Our client, a Domiciliary and Live In Care service, is seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Lead to drive the growth of the new home care branch in Epping which is a secondary branch to an existing, successful branch.
This is a hands‑on role focused on increasing client referrals, building strong relationships within the local healthcare community, and expanding our client base while maintaining the highest standards of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Growth & Development
- Develop and execute a local business development strategy to achieve branch growth targets.
- Identify and secure new sources of referrals from healthcare professionals, local authorities, hospitals, GP practices, community organisations, and private clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across health and social care sectors.
- Attend networking events, community meetings, and industry forums to raise awareness of our services.
- Monitor local market trends, competitor activity, and opportunities for expansion.
- Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for prospective clients and referral partners.
- Conduct meetings and presentations to promote the home care service.
- Maintain regular communication with existing referral sources to strengthen partnerships.
- Develop community engagement initiatives that enhance the branch's local presence and reputation.
- Marketing & Brand Development
- Support local marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
- Work with the wider team to develop effective digital and community-based marketing initiatives.
- Represent the organisation professionally at events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.
- Help generate positive client testimonials and case studies.
- Performance & Reporting
- Track business development activity and report on key performance indicators.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, referrals, conversions, and partnership activities.
- Produce regular reports on business development performance and growth opportunities.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in business development, sales, account management, or relationship management within the care sector
- Strong networking and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Strong organisational and reporting skills.

- Epping based or familiar with the area
- Knowledge of the local health and social care landscape in Essex.
