We are seeking a Level 3 (or equivalent) qualified Technician to join Brayleys Cars Limited's new Suzuki dealership in Thurrock. This fast-paced role reports to the Aftersales Manager. You will utilize your technical expertise across routine service and maintenance and tackling complex technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete scheduled vehicle servicing in line with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Undertake diagnostic activities to identify causes and solutions for customer vehicle issues.
  • Conduct electronic visual health checks (eHVC) on all vehicles and provide a comprehensive report with expert advice and recommendations for customers.
  • Liaise directly with customers and service advisors, delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Ensure vehicle servicing activities are completed safely and to high quality, meeting internal and manufacturer requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to keep product and service knowledge up to date.

Key Requirements

  • Level 3 Technician certification (preferred; not mandatory).
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • At least 2 years of experience in this or a similar brand (optional).
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong customer‑service focus with ability to communicate technical information to a non‑technical audience.
  • Outstanding organisational and time‑management skills, capable of working to deadlines.
  • Commitment to treating all visitors as valued guests.
  • Commitment to never requiring weekend working.
