We're looking for ambitious, customer-focused individuals to join our successful Nissan team in Stockport. Whether you come from automotive retail, car rental, hospitality, retail sales, travel, telecommunications, estate agency, or another customer-facing sales environment, or have recently left education this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.
This is a role for someone who enjoys building relationships, understanding customer needs and helping people make important purchasing decisions. In return, you'll receive industry-leading training, ongoing support and the opportunity to build a rewarding career with a growing automotive group.
What you'll be doing
As a Sales Apprentice we will teach you to guide customers through their vehicle purchase journey, from their initial enquiry through to handover and beyond.
You'll:
- Welcome and engage customers in person, by telephone and online
- Understand each customer's needs and recommend the right vehicle and finance solutions
- Deliver a professional and enjoyable customer experience throughout the sales process
- Build trust and long-term customer relationships
- Manage your own sales pipeline and follow up enquiries effectively
- Work towards individual and team sales targets
- Identify opportunities to introduce additional products and services that add value for customers
What we're looking for
You don't need automotive sales experience to be successful here.
We're particularly interested in hearing from people who have experience in:
- Car rental or vehicle hire
- Hospitality and leisure
- Retail sales
- Used car sales
- Travel and holiday sales
- Estate agency
- Telecommunications
- Other customer-facing sales or service environments
You'll also bring:
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service
- Confidence communicating with a wide range of people
- A positive, driven and enthusiastic approach
- Strong relationship-building skills
- The motivation to achieve and exceed targets
- Excellent organisational and follow-up skills
- A full UK driving licence
