About the Role

Reporting to the Head of HR Operations, you will lead the HR Shared Services function, managing a team of HR Advisors and HR Administrators while ensuring the delivery of efficient, accurate and customer-focused HR support across the Group. You'll also take ownership of our HR Information System (HRIS), HR data and reporting, helping to drive process improvements and support business decision-making through meaningful people insights.

  • Leading and developing a high-performing HR Shared Services team.
  • Managing HR operations across the employee lifecycle.
  • Owning and optimising the HR system and HR data.
  • Delivering insightful reporting and management information.
  • Driving continuous improvement, process simplification and automation.
  • Partnering with stakeholders across the business to deliver an excellent HR service.
  • Ensuring compliance, accuracy and a positive employee experience.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Significant experience in an HR Shared Services, HR Operations or HR Services management role.
  • Experience leading, coaching and developing HR teams.
  • Strong understanding of HR operations and the employee lifecycle.
  • Experience managing or owning an HR Information System (HRIS).
  • Strong analytical skills and experience producing HR reporting and insights.
  • Good working knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Demonstrable experience improving processes and driving efficiencies.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills.

Desirable

  • CIPD qualification or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience within a large, multi-site organisation.
  • Experience implementing or upgrading HR systems.
  • Experience of HR transformation, automation or self-service initiatives.
