The Role

We are seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to join Brayleys Cars Limited and help to lead our vehicle sales team at our Renault dealership in Milton Keynes. This role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis, and offers the opportunity to join a leading regional automotive group whilst representing one of the world’s leading brands whilst taking your first step on the management ladder.

What does a typical day involve?

  • Working alongside the sales manager, managing the team of experienced vehicle sales executives
  • Motivating the team to meet sales targets on vehicles and finance and insurance products
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and brand standards
  • Ensuring that the highest standards of presentation are in place at all times
  • Liaising with customers, both face-to-face and by phone/email
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction index scores are consistently high
  • Handling any customer complaints in an efficient and effective way
  • Collating finance proposals for customers

Required Skills and Experience

Previous automotive experience is preferred, although this isn’t essential and full training will be given. In addition to your experience, you will demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team to meet a goal
  • A calm and professional manner
