We are seeking a level 3 (or equivalent) qualified Technician to join Brayleys Cars Limited’s Honda dealership in Ewell. It’s a fast‑paced environment where you will be part of the team reporting to the Aftersales Manager. You’ll be putting your technical expertise to great use with work ranging from routine service and maintenance to solving complex technical problems.

You’ll be joining an expanding business that represents Nissan, KIA, Mazda, Honda Passenger Cars, Honda Motorcycles, Hyundai, Renault, Dacia and Suzuki across London, the Home Counties, the Thames Valley, the West Midlands and the Greater Manchester area.

With NO REQUIREMENT FOR WEEKEND WORKING, what does a typical weekday look like for one of our workshop technicians? Typically, on any given weekday you’ll be:

  • Completing scheduled vehicle servicing in line with manufacturer guidelines
  • Undertaking diagnostic activities to identify causes and solutions for customer vehicle issues
  • Conducting electronic visual health checks (eHVC) on all vehicles and provide a comprehensive report with expert advice and recommendations for customers
  • Liaising directly with customers and service advisors, providing outstanding customer service
  • Ensuring vehicle servicing activities are completed in a safe and high‑quality manner, in line with both internal and manufacturer requirements
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to ensure product and service knowledge is up to date

What sort of skills and experience do you need to work in one of our workshops? Ideally, you will be a certified level 3 Technician, with a full UK driving licence, ideally with at least 2 years’ experience in this or a similar brand, although this isn’t essential. In addition to your prior experience, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills:

  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and strong attention to detail
  • A strong customer service focus with the ability to communicate technical information to a non‑technical audience
  • Outstanding organisation and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines
  • A commitment to the Brayleys Guiding Principal of treating all visitors to our business, as they would a valued guest in our own homes
