Bray Leino is a full-service brand growth Agency established in North Devon in 1973. Today, our people work across London, Bristol and beyond, helping some of the UK's best-known brands grow through bold thinking and brilliant creative.

We're looking for an exceptional creative to take the reins of one of our biggest and most exciting retail partnerships. This is more than leading great creative. It's about shaping a client's future, inspiring a talented multidisciplinary team and proving every day that outstanding creativity can drive real commercial impact.

Whether your background is in Copy or Art Direction, if you're ready to take the next step into a role where your ideas, leadership and relationships will genuinely make a difference, we'd love to hear from you.

About the role

This is a rare opportunity to become the Senior Creative Director on one of Bray Leino's flagship retail accounts. You'll be the creative voice our client trusts, building a genuine partnership that allows you to challenge thinking, unlock opportunities and consistently raise the bar. Working closely with senior client stakeholders, you'll become their strategic creative advisor, understanding their ambitions as deeply as you understand the craft itself.

Internally, you'll inspire and lead a talented team across every discipline, creating an environment where brilliant ideas flourish and great people do their best work. From national campaigns and brand communications to digital experiences, social, in-store, content and everything in between, you'll oversee creative output across the entire customer journey, ensuring every piece of work feels connected, distinctive and commercially effective.

Working alongside Strategy, Client Services and Production, you'll help shape creative thinking from the very beginning, balancing ambitious ideas with exceptional delivery. If you thrive on collaboration, love building trusted client relationships and are passionate about producing work that people notice and businesses value, you'll fit right in.

What you'll be doing
  • Leading the creative vision across one of our most significant retail clients, ensuring every brief delivers exceptional creative thinking.
  • Building trusted, influential relationships with senior client stakeholders, becoming a genuine creative partner rather than simply a supplier.
  • Inspiring multidisciplinary creative teams to produce best-in-class work across every channel and touchpoint.
  • Providing creative direction from initial concept through to final execution, ensuring consistently high standards across all output.
  • Partnering with Strategy to turn powerful customer insight into compelling, effective creative ideas.
  • Collaborating with Client Services and Production to ensure ambitious creative is delivered on time, on budget and to the highest quality.
  • Mentoring and developing creatives, helping nurture future creative leaders while fostering a culture built on curiosity, collaboration and creative bravery.
  • Championing innovation, exploring new technologies, formats and ways of thinking that keep both Bray Leino and our clients ahead of the curve.
  • Playing a key role in the senior leadership team for the account, helping align creative ambition with commercial success and long-term client growth.
About you

You'll be a naturally inspiring creative who knows that the best work happens when talented people are empowered and clients feel genuinely part of the creative journey. You'll probably have:

  • A background as either a Copy Writer, Art Director or senior integrated creative.
  • Significant agency experience delivering integrated campaigns across digital, social, content and retail.
  • A portfolio demonstrating exceptional creative thinking alongside measurable commercial impact.
  • Outstanding presentation and storytelling skills, with the confidence to influence and inspire senior clients.
  • A proven ability to build long-term client relationships based on trust, credibility and partnership.
  • Experience leading, mentoring and developing multidisciplinary creative teams.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to balance creative ambition with operational excellence.
  • Excellent judgement, high creative standards and an eye for detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
  • A collaborative style and the ability to bring people together around ambitious ideas.

Most importantly, you'll believe that creativity has the power to transform businesses, and you'll be excited by the opportunity to help one of the UK's most recognised retail brands continue to evolve through exceptional work.

And in return…
  • 25 days' holiday, increasing to 29 after two years' service, plus Bank Holidays
  • Company pension scheme with enhanced employer contributions after one year's service
  • Medical Cash Plan including Employee Assistance Programme
  • Employee Discount Scheme
  • Electric Car Salary Sacrifice Scheme
  • Outstanding training and career development, including The MISSION Group Learning Platform
  • Employee referral scheme
  • Regular social events
  • Christmas shutdown
  • Long service awards
  • Cycle to Work scheme
  • MISSION Share Scheme
