You’ll also support the global data privacy program to ensure consistent practices across jurisdictions. Occasional travel to regional offices is required.

- Trade & Regulatory Compliance: Lead day to day import and export compliance across Europe and the Middle East, ensuring adherence to EU/UK and applicable EMEA customs regulations. Partner with Supply Chain, Logistics, and external brokers/forwarders to ensure accurate customs declarations, documentation, and clearance. Own and maintain product trade data, including HS/HTS classification, country of origin, preference, duties, and tariffs. Advise on commercial terms and routing impacting cross border movements, resolving customs issues, holds, and exceptions. Manage export licence applications, renewals, and conditions; support export controls compliance, including sanctions, denied party screening, and end use/end user due diligence. Support internal and external audits, including evidence preparation, remediation, and follow up actions.
- Privacy & Data Protection: Support the regional delivery of Bray’s global data privacy program, including policies, training, and awareness. Maintain privacy governance documentation (e.g. RoPA, DPIAs/PIAs) and support DSAR responses. Assist with investigation and response to suspected data breaches and coordinate corrective actions. Collaborate with global and regional privacy stakeholders to ensure consistency and monitor regulatory developments.

- 5+ years’ experience in trade compliance with hands on import/export operations, customs processes, and cross border logistics within a manufacturing or other regulated environment.
- Strong working knowledge of EU/UK customs and trade requirements (e.g., import/export documentation, HS classification, origin, Incoterms, tariffs/duties) and familiarity with export controls concepts (e.g., licensing and screening); working knowledge of GDPR/data privacy is beneficial.
- Strong organisational and project management skills; able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- High ethical standards, attention to detail, and a practical, solution focused mindset.
- Experience engaging cross border stakeholders (operations, brokers/forwarders, finance, legal) and supporting audits/compliance reviews is an advantage.
