We are seeking an enthusiastic, team‑orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Bray House Vets on a part‑time basis. Bray House Veterinary Services is a well‑established small animal practice with a loyal client base and a strong reputation for delivering high‑quality care. We have proudly served the communities of Melton Mowbray and Grantham for many years, offering compassionate and personalised veterinary services. Occasionally, you may be asked to work at our Grantham branch to cover holidays or for the Saturday rota.

- A team of 5 vets and 6 nurses
How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first‑opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
Working Pattern
- 24 hours per week
- Working Monday, Thursday and Friday
- Shifts: 8:30 am–5:00 pm or 10:30 am–7:00 pm
- 1 in 5 Saturday shifts with TOIL, working 8:30 am–12:30 pm
General Responsibilities
- Nurse clinics
- Theatre work and monitoring anaesthesia
- Inpatient care
- Schedule 3 tasks including scale and polishes, stitch ups and taking bloods
- Some reception duties will be required
