Our client is a London-based Social Housing Landlord providing safe and affordable housing to the customers it serves. With the high volume of fire safety works they are undertaking they are looking to appoint a Fire Improvement Work Surveyor on a permanent basis to support with the delivery of this work.
The Role
The Fire Improvement Works Surveyor will support the delivery of Fire Improvement Work across the organisation’s stock.
You will be expected to assist in the preparation of job specifications.
The successful applicant will carry out post work inspections in readiness for handover.
Monitoring contractors carrying out passive and active works.
The Candidate
Qualified building surveyor.
Some experience and knowledge of working with Fire Improvement Works and Fire Risk Assessment actions.
Sound knowledge of the requirements of the Building Safety Act 2022
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of all housing and building-related fire safety legislation, fire safety guidance, building regulations best practices and techniques.
Salary £50,000
