Mackellar is proud to be the mining services contractor for Bravus’ Carmichael Mine, and together we’re creating jobs and opportunities across regional Queensland. With production in full swing at our site in the Galilee Basin, we’re expanding our team and looking for experienced operators to join us.

Our primary recruitment hubs are Townsville and Rockhampton, with flights also available from Cairns. We welcome and encourage applications from all regional Queensland communities.
What You’ll Need
- Minimum 12 months’ experience operating 400+ tonne large open cut mining excavators and large mining dozers
- RII competencies (or verified training transcript within the past 5 years)
- Current Standard 11 and Driver’s Licence
- A strong commitment to safety at all times
- Team-focused attitude and flexibility to get the job done
- Willingness to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
