Position Purpose
We are seeking an ambitious and innovative FP&A Analyst to join our Commercial Finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified or recently qualified Management Accountant to combine financial expertise, data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and process improvement to drive better business performance.
You will work with large and complex data sets, transforming financial and operational information into meaningful insights that support decision-making across the business.
You will also play an important role in improving planning processes, supporting system enhancements, and helping implement new tools and technologies that strengthen forecasting and performance tracking capabilities.
Working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, you will act as a trusted finance partner for corporate cost centres and provide cover and support for segment business partners as required.
Main Activities

Responsibility Areas
- Support monthly and quarterly forecasting.
- Analyse financial and operational performance, identifying trends, risks, opportunities, and key business drivers.
- Produce regular management reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of Board, Executive, and management presentations.
- Business Partnering
- Business partner with corporate cost centre owners, providing financial support, challenge, and guidance.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, fostering trust in financial data, reporting, and recommendations.
- Opportunity to support review and analysis of contracts and pricing models.
- Provide cover and support to segment business partners as required.
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Organise and validate large datasets from financial and operational sources.
- Develop and maintain reports that support planning, tracking and control of business performance.
- Leverage AI to support data validation, analysis, reporting, and process efficiency.
- Enhance reporting capabilities using modern analytics and visualisation tools.
- Systems & Process Improvement
- Support the development, testing, and implementation of finance system enhancements.
- Assist in the rollout of new planning, forecasting, and reporting tools.
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting automation, and forecasting processes.
- Document processes and ensure appropriate controls are maintained.
In addition to the above position-specific responsibilities, all employees are required to undertake any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within your capability and skills, when requested to do so.
- Ensure Annual Training is competed as required.
- Review Annually & Comply with all Company policies related to H&S and Environmental Management Systems
- Report all/any breaches or accidents/near misses immediately when discovered.
Skills & Experience
- Part-qualified or recently qualified Management Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and data modelling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with large volumes of financial and operational data.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and take ownership of deliverables.
- Self-starter and able to work independently with limited supervision.
- Experience using Power Query, DAX and Power BI.
- Experience using AI tools to support financial analysis, with a genuine interest in applying AI to enhance commercial controls, improve reporting quality, and drive process efficiency.
- Experience with Financial Planning and Analysis tools such as Workday Adaptive Planning or similar planning systems.
- Experience of finance systems testing, implementation, or process transformation projects.
- Experience supporting senior stakeholders in a business partnering capacity.
