lastminute.com is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to play a crucial role in the Customer Acquisition area inside the Marketing department. We are seeking a data-driven professional who understands the dynamics of both marketing and data teams.

- Location: London, UK
- Contract: Permanent – full-time (EUR 36 h/week)
Responsibilities
- Proactively define and review an overarching marketing strategy, based on data and insights, aligned with company business goals, identifying areas for optimization and experimentation to drive incremental gains in marketing effectiveness and efficiency.
- Supervise reporting for the Customer Acquisition department to stay hands-on with the main marketing channel, communicating performance trends and insights to the manager.
- Collaborate with the Data & Analytics team to ensure alignment and coherence of data initiatives. Understand the DB structure and data dynamics to extract and analyze data from various sources including digital marketing platforms, website analytics, and third-party data.
- Partner with marketing teams inside and outside Customer Acquisition to support SEM, SEO, and Display, shaping the marketing strategy based on analytics.
- Engage with other marketing teams to understand how external factors can affect overall performance.
- Stay informed about emerging trends, best practices, and innovations in marketing analytics and technology to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
- SQL and Excel skills required to query the database, extract data, and manage datasets.
- Experience in digital marketing with the ability to set a data-driven strategy.
- Proactive analytic mindset to transform raw data into valuable marketing insights.
- Proficiency with Marketing Technology stacks (MarTech) used for digital marketing.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Mandatory Italian language proficiency; fluent English for international communication.
- Experience with Paid Search platforms (Google Ads, Google Search Ads 360, Facebook Ads, etc.).
- Understanding of Google Analytics 4 and related data models.
- Experience in setting marketing strategies and/or budgeting/OKR definitions.
- Experience with Python.
