Group Mid Cloud Developer – Wacoal/Bravissimo IT
37.5hrs per week, Permanent contract, Hybrid (minimum 2 days in office, 1 day in Leamington Spa and 1 day in Desborough).
About the job
Group Mid Cloud Developer will help to maintain and extend the Wacoal Group integration services capability, centred around AWS‑hosted integration platforms.
Working alongside the architecture and platform teams the role delivers new technical capabilities into the integration services and ensures that the existing integration services are stable and are fulfilling their Service Level Agreements and wider expectations.
The core codebase is mainly strict Type Script in an npm monorepo, with Lambda/Event Bridge consumers, API services, Dynamo DB repositories, Shopify integration code, a React/Vite dashboard, and Terraform infrastructure in a separate repo.
You will use AI coding tools and can use them to move quickly while still validating contracts, tests, AWS/Terraform wiring, and assuring operational behaviour.
As well as focusing on technical delivery you will also play a key role in evolving Wacoal Europe's cloud infrastructure posture on AWS, improving resilience, observability, and the capability of our services.
We are open‑minded and forward‑looking, evaluating the best tool or technology for the job.
We share insights on new technologies, approaches to delivery or specific code we’ve seen, and we’re enthusiastic and passionate about the field we work in.
This is a hybrid role given the need to support both Wacoal and Bravissimo operations and to liaise closely with the respective IT specialists.
The post holder will commit to at least a day a week at each of Bravissimo HQ (Leamington Spa) and Wacoal Europe (Desborough).
