You will oversee impactful outreach strategies, lean into senior support if required, and ensure we deliver maximum value to our lovely clients.

From developing remarkable pieces of content to building relationships with journalists, influencers, and media outlets to secure high‑value and relevant links and occasionally reporting back to your clients, you’ll bring a penchant for all things media and outreach, innovative ideas and high energy to a team who love pushing the boundaries and demonstrating unquestionable value.

You will also support traditional link building efforts that don’t necessarily require fresh content to pitch to third‑party websites.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the timely delivery of our work by working alongside your team to meaningfully communicate progress and impact of our work to our clients.
  • When appropriate, take charge and strategically lead smaller accounts, taking accountability of their performance.

Here, your role will be to understand your client’s objectives and apply insights to your Digital PR roadmaps ahead.

  • Technical competencies
  • Lead ideations, ensuring concepts delivered to clients cut through the noise of competitive industries, earn those all‑important links and elevate brands to the next level.
  • Support and put forward new ideas for ensuring our link building approach is both tactical and multi‑faceted for our clients.
  • Independently lead and build outreach strategies, including crafting tailored press releases and outreach pitches, making sure to deliver tangible results for our clients.
  • Build and nurture relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and media outlets.
  • Carry out end‑to‑end campaign research, ensuring our campaigns produce relevant headlines that you can successfully pitch to the media.
  • Execute more traditional link building activities such as, but not limited to, prospecting unlinked brand mentions and broken link opportunities.
  • Product development & team impact
  • Support Digital PR product development and process refinement by identifying new opportunities to innovate and maximise value.
  • Support the DPR team by leading occasional training sessions and mentoring on specialist subjects.

Performance

  • Feed into measurement and reporting workflows for accounts you support as set out by your account’s DPR lead.
  • Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, PR tools, and media opportunities to continuously innovate and improve campaigns.
  • Client acquisition
  • Attend key business review meetings, taking ownership of certain Digital PR slides when appropriate.

Qualifications and skills

  • 2+ years’ Digital PR experience.
  • Experience working in an agency environment.
  • Editorial contacts and/or an established method for building journalist relationships.
  • Full understanding of SEO basics, and how link‑building, Digital PR and content link together.
  • Proven Digital PR capabilities e. g. successful campaigns, earned coverage.
  • Solid Excel and Power Point skills.
  • Familiarity and experience with key tools and software such as media databases (Roxhill), backlink tools (Ahrefs and Majestic), Buzz Stream and reporting software (SEO Monitor, GA4, Search Console).
  • US and European market knowledge would be a nice to have, alongside experience in e Commerce, FS and travel verticals.
  • Whatyou’llget
