The Role:
We have a fantastic and exciting opportunity for a driven, target focused Sales Professional to join our clients’ growing and successful team. To play a key role in the growth of the business, you will self-generate a pipeline, develop relationships with key decision makers, and most importantly, secure the business of non-farming clients within target commercial sectors. As well as selling commercial insurance you will cross sell the full range of products our client offers, including financial services, risk management services and their range of motor and personal insurances.
Responsibilities:
- Pro-actively seeking out and researching businesses within commercial sectors in order to develop a sales pipeline.
- Reviewing and identifying the commercial insurance needs of prospects and advising on insurance products.
- Utilising your training, support and resources in order to develop an in-depth understanding of their target commercial sectors and the associated insurance products.
- Handing over new clients to the customer focused team of Service, Claims and Account Management colleagues, they will ensure that the new business you’ve generated is well looked after and retained come renewal.
Skills and Requirements:
- UK Driving License and access to own vehicle is essential.
- Previous insurance experience
- Previous experience working in a targeted sales environment is essential.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Strong IT literacy - social media skills are desirable but not essential.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks.
