As a Senior IT Support Engineer, you'll need to have excellent customer service, troubleshooting, and communication skills, as well as the ability to talk tech with employees at all levels.
Our lean and dedicated technical team of 3 currently includes a VP of IT, a Staff IT engineer, and a Senior IT engineer. You will be the second Senior IT engineer, playing a key role in supporting our staff across the globe. This role is based out of the London office which regularly supports 20 employees.
Responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing and solving complex software, hardware and networking issues including MacOS, Windows and Linux.
- A/V Support using Brave Talk, in house and remote.
- User account management such as onboarding/offboarding staff members, modifying access permissions, periodic audits of access controls, and user credential management.
- Hardware and Software inventory control and purchasing and remote shipping.
- Creating clear and concise documentation in the form of runbooks, tutorials, technical tips, and knowledge-based articles.
- Doing security reviews of our vendors and responding to customer security inquiries that relate to IT.
- Maintaining company asset management with Snipe‑IT.
- Building workflows and automations to help streamline internal processes.
