The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, distribution, and demand planning. This role ensures that goods and services are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and on time while maintaining quality standards and supporting business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies aligned with company goals
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels
- Monitor market trends, risks, and opportunities within the supply chain
- Manage supplier relationships, contracts, and performance
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and service level agreements (SLAs)
- Source and onboard new suppliers where necessary
- Oversee inventory levels to balance availability with cost efficiency
- Implement demand forecasting and planning processes
- Minimise stockouts, overstock, and wastage
- Track and report supply chain KPIs (e.g., lead times, cost, service levels)
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with regulations, safety standards, and company policies
- Work closely with sales, finance, production, and customer service teams
- Align supply chain activities with business needs and customer demand
- Support new product launches and business expansion plans
