Responsibilities

  • Support the timely delivery of our work by working alongside your team to meaningfully communicate progress and impact of our work to our clients.
  • When appropriate, take charge and strategically lead smaller accounts, taking accountability of their performance.
  • Understand your client’s objectives and apply insights to your Digital PR roadmaps ahead.

Technical Competencies

  • Lead ideations, ensuring concepts delivered to clients cut through the noise of competitive industries, earn those links and elevate brands to the next level.
  • Support and put forward new ideas for ensuring our link building approach is both tactical and multi‑faceted for our clients.
  • Independently lead and build outreach strategies, including crafting tailored press releases and outreach pitches, making sure to deliver tangible results for our clients.
  • Build and nurture relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and media outlets.
  • Carry out end‑to‑end campaign research, ensuring our campaigns produce relevant headlines that you can successfully pitch to the media.
  • Execute traditional link building activities such as prospecting unlinked brand mentions and broken link opportunities.

Product Development & Team Impact

  • Support Digital PR product development and process refinement by identifying new opportunities to innovate and maximise value.
  • Support the DPR team by leading occasional training sessions and mentoring on specialist subjects.

Performance

  • Feed into measurement and reporting workflows for accounts you support as set out by your account’s DPR lead.
  • Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, PR tools, and media opportunities to continuously innovate and improve campaigns.

Client Acquisition

  • Attend key business review meetings, taking ownership of certain Digital PR slides when appropriate.

Qualifications and Skills

  • + 2 years’ Digital PR experience
  • Experience working in an agency environment
  • Editorial contacts and/or an established method for building journalist relationships
  • Full understanding of SEO basics, and how link‑building, Digital PR and content link together
  • Proven Digital PR capabilities e.g. successful campaigns, earned coverage
  • Solid Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Familiarity and experience with key tools and software such as media databases (Roxhill), backlink tools (Ahrefs and Majestic), BuzzStream and reporting software (SEO Monitor, GA4, Search Console).
  • US and European market knowledge would be a nice to have, alongside experience in eCommerce, FS and travel verticals.
