Brava Education is working with a small special school in the East Midlands, who are looking for a calm, organised Interim Headteacher to join them from Monday 26 October.
The role
This is a hands-on headship within a small special school. The school takes a nurturing, neuro-inclusive approach and supports pupils with autism, ADHD and other additional needs.
The school has a committed staff team, and your priority will be to bring structure, steady leadership and strong support, putting clear systems in place so staff can focus on teaching and pupils can thrive.
About you
- Experience leading or deputising in a small special school.
- A calm, empathetic and well-organised approach.
- Experienced deputies ready to step up and newer headteachers are both welcome. Character matters more than years in post.
- NPQH would be a bonus.
- QTS is required.
Terms
This is a full-time interim role, five days a week on site, starting on Monday 26 October and running until Christmas in the first instance. It offers a competitive daily rate.
The process
The process will begin with an informal Zoom call with the proprietor. The school is moving quickly, so if you would like to discuss the opportunity further, please get in touch today and I'd be happy to arrange a call.
