Interim Headteacher | Early Years | North West London | September Start Brava Education is working with a welcoming maintained early years school in North West London to appoint an Interim Headteacher for the full academic year, September 2026 to July 2027. This is a rare part-time headship, around 3.5 days per week. However 5 days will be considered if that is the candidates preference. About the school * A small, warm and well-regarded early years setting * A wonderfully diverse community, with most children speaking English as an additional language and a high proportion on SEN support * An experienced and settled staff team The role * Provide confident leadership for a settled school community * Lead the school through its Ofsted window, which opens in September * Work within a managed budget plan agreed with the local authority, which is on track * Full handover from the outgoing headteacher at the start of term About you * An early years leader, or a primary leader with genuine early years experience * Established headteachers and experienced deputies ready to step up to a first headship are both encouraged to apply * Ofsted experience is a strong advantage given the timing * General SEND experience is welcome; specialist SEND is covered in-house * Comfortable leading a small, close-knit setting Details * Full academic year, September 2026 to July 2027 * Around 3.5 - 5 days per week * Interim, daily rate basis * Interviews are being arranged immediately for a first-week-of-September start To apply or find out more, send your CV through this advert and I will call you for a confidential chat.
