Brava Education is working with an independent specialist school, within easy reach of Birmingham, Worcester and Redditch, to appoint a permanent Headteacher.
The school supports young people with autism and a range of complex needs. It has a strong record and an ambitious plan for its next stage of growth, and the new Headteacher will play a central part in shaping what the school becomes.
The role: Permanent, full-time headship
Salary: Competitive

Hands-on, visible leadership alongside setting the schools direction
Leading vision, culture, curriculum, SEND, safeguarding, staffing, budget and compliance with the Independent School Standards
Backing from an experienced regional leadership team, with central support for HR, finance and recruitment
The successful candidate will need:
QTS, with NPQH or equivalent
Senior leadership experience in a special school or complex setting
Strong knowledge of the Independent School Standards and of safeguarding
Experience of leading SEND provision with multidisciplinary teams
A clear, evidenced record of school improvement
Experience of opening, establishing or growing a school or provision would be a real advantage
