With an established Nottingham-based team and strong local capability (following the acquisition of Aldridge Traffic Systems UK), we’re now accelerating our expansion across the UK & Ireland, supporting councils, contractors and road authorities with safer, more efficient transport networks.
Following the acquisition of Aldridge Traffic Systems UK, BRAUMS-ATS Co UK is investing in growth across the UK & Ireland. We’re seeking an experienced, hands‑on General Manager – UK to lead our established Nottingham‑based team and expand the business—promoting and delivering the wider BRAUMS product and solutions portfolio. This is an end‑to‑end leadership role with responsibility for commercial performance, operations, people leadership, and ISO 9001 ownership for the UK operation.
What you’ll do
- Lead the UK team and deliver strong commercial and operational outcomes
- Build and execute strategic and financial plans aligned to agreed budgets
- Drive business development and key account growth across UK & Ireland
- Strengthen relationships with councils, contractors, authorities and end users
- Lead tenders, proposals, pricing, take‑offs and accurate quotations
- Identify new market and product opportunities and build partnerships with key stakeholders
- Oversee operations, resourcing, process improvement, approvals/certifications, and ERP adherence
- Provide accurate monthly reporting across financial, sales, operational and quality performance
What we’re looking for
- 10+ years leadership/management experience in a technical environment (electrical/mechanical manufacturing or similar)
- Experience with traffic signals / ITS hardware deployment or manufacture (or closely related products)
- Proven business development and key account management capability
- Strong financial management and reporting skills
- Demonstrated ISO 9001 QMS ownership (audit and continuous improvement ideal)
- Confident people leader with a practical, hands‑on style suited to a small team
